Dear dancers and dance lovers,
If, like us, you’re tired of waiting for the next Ball to happen in Brussels… (maybe in October or November?), despair no longer! We’re organising a Social Dance Event on 28 April 2024 where you can dance the Viennese Waltz to your heart’s content on the spacious 200m² dance floor.
INTRO TO WALTZ & SOCIAL DANCE
Sunday 28 April 2024, 14:00 – 17:00
Polyvalente Hall, Comenius Building,
Dapperenstraat 20 (Rue des Braves 20),
1081 Brussels Koekelberg
(3-minute walk from Metro Elisabeth/Simonis)
We will begin the afternoon session at 14:00 with a 45-minute introduction to the Waltz (for beginners), and we’ll also start playing music from 14:00 (but less loud during the lesson), so if you already know the dance, you can start dancing immediately. The space is large enough to accommodate both groups.
If there’s enough interest, we may make this a monthly event… so please show up in numbers to support this initiative and bring your friends 🙂
Dress code: Smart casual. Feel free to dress up if you want to: tuxedos and ball gowns are welcome and appreciated, but not required.
Admission €10 per person.
Please book online and pay in advance as we prefer not to handle cash at the event. Payment methods accepted are: Bancontact, Credit card, Debit card, iDeal, Giropay and EPS. (If, however, you can only pay cash, please bring the exact amount.)
To make an online booking, click on the ADD TO BASKET button below. On the next page you can change the number of persons under Quantity and click on UPDATE BASKET to confirm. Then click on PROCEED TO CHECKOUT where you can specify the name(s) of the person(s) and enter the payment details. Please note that paper tickets will not be issued, the names of people who have prepaid will be on the guest list at the reception desk.
In case the event is cancelled, all prepayments will be refunded.
See you soon on the dance floor!
P.S.
There will be a nice Ball in Paris on 8 June 2024: Bal des Parisiennes – le Bal Viennois de Paris (Viennese Ball of Paris). More details at www.baldesparisiennes.com
